Scotland’s Business Hustings – Live Stream
02/04/2026, 4:00 PM to 5:15 PM
As we lead up to the Holyrood 2026 Election, Scotland’s business community continues to experience ongoing economic challenges. At such a moment, constructive dialogue between political leaders and the organisations representing Scotland’s employers, entrepreneurs, and innovators is more important than ever.
In partnership with the Federation of Small Businesses, Confederation of British Industry (CBI), Institute of Directors (IoD), Scottish Chambers of Commerce, Royal Bank of Scotland, The Times and Sunday Times, we have arranged a special party leaders hustings event. This will give those vying to be the next First Minister of Scotland the platform to outline their party’s vision for Scotland’s economy, discuss priorities for growth and competitiveness, and respond to questions from a diverse audience of business leaders, like you, from across Scotland.
Each of the partners represents a distinct and vital part of Scotland’s economic landscape, and by uniting for this event, we aim to create a forum that reflects the full breadth of Scotland’s business community, ranging from sole traders, growing SMEs, large corporates, all the way through to the third sector and trade unions.
Our shared objective is to give businesses and organisations of all sizes and sectors the opportunity to hear directly from those seeking to lead the country, and to engage in a meaningful discussion about the policies that will shape Scotland’s economic future.
Gina Davidson from LBC will chair the session.
The hustings will begin at 4:00pm and our panel consists of:
Russell Findlay MSP, Leader of Scottish Conservatives
Ross Greer MSP, Co-Leader of Scottish Greens
Anas Sarwar MSP, Leader of Scottish Labour
Alex Cole-Hamilton MSP, Leader of Scottish Liberal Democrats
Malcolm Offord, Leader of Reform in Scotland
John Swinney MSP, Leader of Scottish National Party
The event will be live streamed from 4:00pm
Magnus Llewellin is Prosper’s Director of Policy & Membership
