Prosper Scottish Budget 2026-27 Letter
In our letter to the Cabinet Secretary for Finance and Local Government, we set out Prosper’s advice ahead of the Scottish Budget 2026–27, based on evidence from members across all sectors of the economy.
We call for a “Scottish budget for growth and opportunities” and sets out seven priorities focused on restoring confidence, backing skills, supporting growth industries, funding a pragmatic transition to clean power, delivering infrastructure and strengthening regional economies.
Together, these recommendations outline how the budget can unlock investment, support jobs and create the conditions for long-term prosperity across Scotland.
