This year’s Forum will be completely digital for the first time – but we’ve worked really hard to bring you the networking opportunities that are so valuable. There’s no substitute for meeting face to face, but there are three ways that you can meet with other delegates, and our partners, during the two days of Forum and beyond.

There’s a Forum app

We have created a Forum app, primarily to facilitate one to one connections and networking, but it will also contain all the information you need about the Forum programme, speakers and sponsors. Even better, there’s no need to download – simply create a profile, which takes about one minute to do.

The app is ready for you to use from today onwards, though the delegate list won’t be uploaded until nearer the time. Visit https://scdiforum2020.beezer.com and create your profile. The more information you add, the better the experience and the easier you’ll be able to connect with your fellow delegates.

Dedicated networking rooms

The digital platform we’re using will have several networking rooms, each with a theme aligned to the Forum programme. So if you want to discuss the session you’ve just seen, simply join the appropriate networking room and you’ll be connected in a live video chat with up to 19 other delegates with the same interest.  Or you can use the app to connect with other delegates and agree to meet in a particular room during the programme breaks. The app will stay live for four weeks after the event, to allow you to finish sharing contact details and download the delegate list.

There will be a clear link at the top and bottom of the event agenda that will take you to the networking area.

Exhibitor spaces

Visit our exhibitor area to meet live with our partners in the event and representatives from SCDI, YESC and Productivity Club. Our exhibitor area also allows you to view short video messages from our partners, download materials from them, and connect with them on social media.

There will be a clear link at the top and bottom of the event agenda that will take you to the exhibitor area.

We hope that you’ll use all of these opportunities to make the Forum experience the best it can be. You’ll also be able to ask questions of our speakers during the plenary sessions – these will be submitted using Slido and passed to the speakers by our facilitator Sally Magnusson. And, of course, you can tweet @SCDINews using #SCDIForum2020 or tag us in LinkedIn posts through the two days.
