Leadership takes many forms, and this award provides an opportunity to shine a light on the talent demonstrated by women across all sectors and at every stage of their careers.

We are committed to building an environment where everyone can reach their full potential. We are proud that at the Bank, women make up 48% of our senior leadership team.

We know that talented people thrive when they are supported to balance their professional and personal lives. That’s why we champion flexible ways of working for everyone. We have a C-suite job-share arrangement between our Chief People Officers, demonstrating that flexibility and career progression can go hand in hand. We also offer part-time and compressed hours, as well as hybrid working. All of our employees can request arrangements from day one, with the flexibility to change those arrangements throughout their career with us.

Our commitment to inclusion is also reflected in the work of our Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) working group. The group focuses on ways that the Bank can advocate for equality, diversity and inclusion through using our influence as an investor, as an employer and as a procurer of services.
