Let's talk about how automations, robotics and new technologies can improve efficiency for small business across various sectors

This event will be held in partnership with Smart Hub Lanarkshire, a new centre of excellence for manufacturing innovation and robotics. It was established to support small to medium sized enterprises (SMEs) active in the manufacturing sector locally.

Smart Hub Lanarkshire will present case studies on businesses who have accessed the service and who have now moved to invest in innovative Cobot Technology. They will discuss the operating challenges these businesses faced, the support they received and the overall impact and success that Cobot technology has had for these businesses.

We will also hear from Chris SimpsonEngineering & Development Manager at Retronix about his first-hand experience in introducing new technologies to the business

“New technologies such as automation can vastly improve process efficiency, increase production capacity, and upskill existing workforces. Retronix, a Jabil company, has seen a significant throughput increase on key projects where automation has been implemented. Lead times have been reduced while maintaining high quality standards”
