Doing business whilst restoring nature with EICC

Open to All

On the day you will hear from Rob Turnbull, Sustainability Manager, Edinburgh International Conference Centre (EICC) about the steps they are taking to reduce their environmental impact and to preserve our planet for future generations

We will learn how they are working toward a climate and nature positive plan, their partnership with RSPB for climate mitigation and their sustainable business programme.

Lauren Ridgley from the Edinburgh Chamber of Commerce will also share information on the Circular Edinburgh project that aims to help the City’s economy become more circular.

Mandy Bailey from Royal Bank of Scotland will introduce you to their carbon planner to start your net zero journey by tracking your major consumption.

Takeaways from the session:

  • how businesses can contribute to restore Scotland’s nature
  • ideas on how to mitigate your carbon emission
  • how to use a carbon planner
  • benefits of adopting a circular economy model

Get ready to discuss with your peers about what sustainability means to your organisation and share what actions you are taking to reduce your carbon footprint. Wherever you are in your sustainability journey, this event is for you.

The event is interactive with group discussion, Q&A and networking opportunities.
