At this event we will explore where Scottish Government investments in the supply chain and economic and social enabling infrastructures could stimulate more supply chain companies to invest in Scotland, increasing our manufacturing capability and growing tax revenues.

Meet the Speakers
Andrew Hogg, Deputy Director, Investment & Financial Services, Scottish Government
Andrew is responsible for investment and financial services policy in the Scottish Government, this includes the government Shareholder function for the Scottish National Investment Bank (SNIB). Andrew also oversees the Investment Strategy and Delivery Unit, which is tasked with implementing the recommendations from the First Minister’s Investor Panel.
Emma Shepherd, Head of Energy Strategy, Directorate for Energy and Climate Change, Scottish Government
The Directorate works to deliver a low carbon society, with sustainable economic growth and reduced greenhouse gas emissions.
They are responsible for:
- helping Scotland become a prosperous low carbon economy, with secure, affordable and sustainable energy
- promoting Scotland’s climate change, clean energy and energy efficiency programmes internationally
- working locally to help individuals, businesses and communities make sustainable choices
