This event is delivered in partnership with the Dundee and Angus Chamber of Commerce.
The most important asset of a business is its people.
In order to grow and develop this asset, leaders are implementing a new business culture and people practices to empower employees to reach their potential. A framework that can help businesses improve their people management is Fair Work.
During this session, we will hear from Alison Henderson, CEO Dundee & Angus Chamber of Commerce, about the practical steps they have taken to become a Fair Work employer and why an engaged workforce can drive business to success.

Alison is CEO of Dundee & Angus Chamber of Commerce, a trustee of the Dundee Educational Trust; the George R Donald Fund and sits on the Advisory Board for the University of Dundee School of Business. Alison is Chair of the Tay Cities Enterprise Forum, Co-Chair of the Dundee Inclusive Economic Growth Strategic Leadership Group and represents business on the Angus Community Planning Partnership Board: championing business & employment opportunities across the region. She is passionate about business & the local community and works with partners on many projects to ensure that business voice is heard and represented. She is a Circular Tayside Ambassador, the project which supports many organisations across the region to be more sustainable and achieve their ambitions of growing enterprises, minimising waste and transitioning to circular enterprises.
