Meet the Politician: Màiri McAllan MSP

An early opportunity for Prosper members and friends to understand the Scottish Government’s plans for the new combined Cabinet Secretary portfolio of Wellbeing Economy, Net Zero and Energy and engage with incoming Cabinet Secretary Màiri McAllan, as she sets out her priorities.

Ms McAllan takes on the economy role Scotland strives to seize the economic, social and environmental opportunities and overcome the significant challenges associated with energy transition.

Previously cabinet secretary for Net Zero, Transport and Just Transition, Ms McAllan is MSP for Clydesdale. After qualifying as a Scots lawyer, she specialised in energy and natural resources in a commercial firm in Glasgow.
