Join us for this Cybersecurity Workshop hosted by Nimbus Blue’s Security Lead, Andy Turner, with guest speaker, Andre Lynch from ConnectWise. During this interactive session, you will be taken through the stages of a successful Incident Response Plan before engaging in a practical scenario to let you experience it in action.

SPEAKERS

Andy Turner, Security Lead at Nimbus Blue

With over 18 years of experience working across many industries and sectors, Andy has amassed a depth of knowledge on many different technologies and solutions.

Starting as a desktop support engineer, through network and infrastructure support, to his position at Nimbus Blue as Security Lead, Andy takes a holistic approach when designing solutions and applies his experience to ensure that all aspects are considered when implementing projects.

With a keen interest in cyber security, Andy is always keeping an eye on emerging threats and new security-focussed technologies to ensure that Nimbus Blue’s products are still best-of-breed, and that all customers are protected.

Andy has completed the IASME Cyber Essentials Assessor training, and the CompTIA Security+ certification, to further enhance his security knowledge.

Andre Lynch, Security Sales Engineer at ConnectWise

Andre has almost 20 years of experience in the ICT across a variety of sectors. He started his journey as a Network Technician installing and maintaining voice and data systems for corporate customers. Subsequently, he was a university lecturer covering a range of STEM fields including Networking & Security, Data Communication, Microcomputing and Robotics. Andre also instructed the CWNA course which is recognised as a standard for wireless network administration.

Additionally, he was a Technical Consultant helping companies finance their business growth and drive innovation through R&D incentives.

Lastly, Andre is an ISC2 member, who for the past 5 years has specialised in cyber security and works with MSPs and SMBs to educate them of the dangers posed by cybercrime and how to protect their businesses. He holds a Masters Degree in Networking & Data Communication and is currently working towards achieving CISSP certification to further his knowledge and skillsets in cy
