SCDI is delighted to welcome Al Tucker to Aberdeen for what promises to be an interesting and informative evening.
Al has 29 years of oil and gas experience, the last 16 years with Shell. He holds a degree in Geology from Birmingham University and a Masters in Petroleum Geology from Aberdeen University. His career started as a Petroleum Engineer working in the North Sea. Al has held various technical and managerial roles across Shell and recently in the UK as BOM for the Penguins Project and Manager for the Brent field.
Currently, Al is the General Manager of Europe for Carbon Capture Utilisation & Storage (CCUS) at Shell. He has the responsibility to develop and mature Shell’s CCS portfolio in Europe through leading engagements with external customers and partners.
Al will provide an overview of the key development of CCUS in Europe and of Shell’s strategy, key project positions, key opportunities, dilemmas, and challenges in delivering an integrated CCUS solution for Europe.
