Forum26 – Growth starts here

9:00am
Kimpton Charlotte Square
Edinburgh

Forum, Prosper’s flagship economic conference, is truly cross-sector. A place where for over 50 years leaders in Scotland have gathered to share knowledge, ideas and views, and build powerful connections.

What could Scotland achieve if people and organisations had the right tools and freedom to reach their goals? Imagine the impact if everyone could fully contribute to major challenges like improving competitiveness, developing skills, adapting to new technology and protecting our environment.

We all agree Scotland needs stronger economic growth—growth that supports thriving local communities while making an impact internationally.

Scotland’s Blueprint: The Art of the Possible sets out how our private, public and third sectors can drive that growth if ambition turns into action. As Scotland begins a new political cycle, Forum26 will set out how we can work with government to deliver quickly, avoid economic and social stagnation and put Scotland firmly on a path to long-term growth and prosperity.

Third Sector Discount

We are pleased to offer a 20% discount to third sector organisations. Add the appropriate tickets to your cart, click ‘next’, then click ‘Use promo, credit or voucher code?’ and enter Forum2026.

This discount is mainly intended to reduce the cost for our charity and NFP colleagues.

Early Career Tickets

We’re also offering a limited number of free places for early career individuals, when another ticket is bought. You can see more information under ‘ticket types’ below.

Panel Themes

Getting Things Done

What actions must we take now to meet Scotland’s biggest challenges and unlock new growth? Our panel will discuss how to sharpen delivery and how stronger leadership and collaboration can drive change and boost competitiveness to deliver quickly, avoid economic and social stagnation and put Scotland firmly on a path to long-term growth and prosperity.

Growing Workforce Skills

How can we ensure that Scotland’s workforce will be the right size and equipped with the right skills to deliver employers’ current and future business plans. This panel will discuss how to accelerate skills reform, how colleges and universities can become skills ‘engines’ and how to tackle the rising challenge of people leaving the workforce.

Growing Competitive Industries

How can Scotland’s existing and emerging industries achieve their growth and sustainability goals in competitive global and domestic markets? This panel will consider what both globally traded and local sectors can learn from each other about creating and growing businesses, building resilience and good jobs and what support they need from government and partners.

Growing Scotland’s Regions

How can Scotland use city and regional approaches to boost growth, attract investment and reduce poverty? Hear more about emerging models for regional decision-making, how they can be put in place at pace and how to ensure they empower local leadership rather than add bureaucracy.

Ticket Types

Non-members are welcome to attend Forum, booking the appropriate, non-member ticket. Prosper will get in touch if you have booked a ticket type that doesn’t match your membership status, and will be happy to refund any excess or take additional payment as appropriate.

Please note that Ticket Tailor fees are not refundable.

Free Places for Early Career Professionals

We want to inspire Scotland’s young leaders and we offer up to ten free places for early career colleagues for Prosper members who book a conference and dinner ticket. When booking, you will indicate that you would like to reserve one of these places, and we’ll be in touch by email to get more details.

This person should usually be aged 25 or under, but we recognise that there may be exceptions. They will have a place allocated at both conference and dinner – you will be able to indicate if you’d only like them to attend one part of the event.

Once we’ve spoken with you, we will contact the nominated person directly to gather their information – you’ll just need to provide their name and email.

As these free future leaders places are very limited, if we are unable to gather registration details within five working days, we will withdraw their free place and offer to another delegate.
