Amanda McCulloch, Chief Executive at TMM Recruitment Ltd

Amanda joined TMM Recruitment Ltd as a graduate in 1999 and over the next decade was intrinsic to the commercial success of the business as it transitioned from a niche accountancy agency to an award winning, multi-million pound consultancy. She was promoted to Managing Director in 2009, a position she held for the next 10 years. Under her stewardship the business has won the Scottish Recruitment Awards Small/Medium Agency of the Year and has grown to provide recruitment services across 10 professional disciplines, with a reputation for customer service excellence. In 2021 Amanda launched TMM Executive, an executive search service focused on the appointment of finance, operations and non-executive directors at high growth, private equity backed and SME companies. Amanda is the leading authority on financial resourcing in the north east of Scotland and consults on remuneration benchmarking, market mapping and psychometric assessment. She is a board director of Aberdeen Inspired and recently retired from the board of Aberdeen & Grampian Chamber of Commerce.

Dr Ikechukwu Onyegiri, Co-Founder of Association of Black and Minority Ethnic Engineers UK (AFBE-UK)

Ikechukwu (E-k-chu-ku) is the General Secretary for the Association of Black and minority Ethnic Engineers (AFBE-UK), an organization who through its amazing network of dedicated volunteers provide support and promote higher achievements in education and engineering particularly among students and professionals from black and ethnic minority backgrounds. He is one of the team leads in the Transition programme, which provides guidance and support to students on how best to position themselves to transition into the workforce. Through the programme, Ikechukwu also consults with companies on internal and external changes they can make to make their workplace more attractive, retentive and progressive to a more diverse workforce, ensuring that companies are more representative of the communities which they serve. Ikechukwu holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Aberdeen and is a senior engineer within TechnipFMC specializing in the area of fracture mechanics. As a certified coach, Ikechukwu facilitates workplace coaching with focus on skills and career development. He is a chartered engineer with the IMechE, where he also acts as a mentor.
