ADHD is often viewed through a narrow or inaccurate lens. In this session, we will be joined by Susan Fullerton — freelance consultant, trainer, leadership coach of Values Connect. She will take a closer look at what ADHD really is, challenging assumptions and deepening your understanding of executive functioning.
Executive functioning refers to the mental skills we use to plan, focus attention, remember instructions, and manage multiple tasks successfully — all of which can be impacted by ADHD. Susan will unpack how these challenges can show up in the workplace and highlight supportive practices to better meet the needs of neurodivergent team members.
In the second half of the session, Nicola Murray (PhD) of Manera Coaching will introduce Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) Tapping, a research-backed technique for supporting emotional regulation and executive function. EFT is a stress reduction method that helps calm the nervous system, reduce overwhelm, and activate the problem-solving areas of the brain. It’s easy to learn and can be used to address a wide range of challenges, both at work and beyond.
Drawing on expertise in ADHD coaching and EFT Tapping, this session blends fresh insights with actionable tools. Whether you want to support neurodivergent colleagues, improve your own focus and regulation, or simply gain a better understanding of ADHD in the workplace, you’ll leave with practical, actionable ideas.
