What sets Prosper apart is the breadth and depth of our membership.
Our deep understanding of how policy works and our ability to recognise emerging trends, places us perfectly to make meaningful and regular contributions to major strategic developments within both national and local government.
Our legacy and status further allows us to act collectively as a critical friend in the corridors of power.
As Scotland’s only cross-sector membership organisation, one with an extensive stakeholder base, Prosper also offers a unique forum for debate, a place where all shades of opinion can be aired and shared, and consensus built.
I believe that the concept of social partnership – so widely practiced in European societies and indeed encapsulated by the former Scottish Council Development and Industry now called Prosper – is a sound means of formulating an agreed economic agenda for Scotland.
Rt. Hon John Swinney MSP, First Minister of Scotland
